Lie board question

Im gonna wait a few months before getting fitted so I can groove a non over the top swing, and get my swing looking really good,

But that said, I was at dicks and the guy lemme play around on the lie board....

I was hitting 2 dashes toward the toe with my current swing, does that mean I need an upright lie, is that what that means? Does upright bring the toe up, or is that flat that brings the toe up?

Im not gonna do it now, but Im just interested.....

yes its uprught,and yes upright raises toe.

Sweet, thanks for clearing that up! Is that a common fitting when lengthening a shaft is to change the lie angle upright?
