Ever have one of those days?

Like the title asks.......I was on a trip recently and toted my clubs along, as Cape Breton has some beautiful courses to experience. The day before I left, I decided to give the rental car a once over to rid it from 2 weeks of sand and dirt from visiting the beach. I decided to do this in the driveway (mistake number one). I had taken out my soft travel case and placed it in the drive (mistake number two) as I hadn't planned on moving the vehicle at all. You can see where this is leading.
Since I hadn't pulled the car up far enough into the yard, the short extension cord wasn't long enough to reach both sides with the vacuum. "I'll just turn it around" I quipped to myself. I did so without checking the driveway (mistake number three, and the final blow). I could hear the crunching as the rear tire ran over the heads of both the FT-i and my old favorite Bertha. Luckily nothing else was damaged. I won't lie.....I was fighting to hold back that tear that was welling up in my eye.

Did you at least get to play before you ran over your clubs? You said you did it on your last day, at least it wasn't the day you arrived.

Lol, I just ordered the LCG version with a matrix xcon6 shaft from callaway pre-owned as a replacement. I'm happy, but the wife isn't, although she did laugh when I walked into the house carrying the driver with the drooping head cover. (Edit: I ordered the club via online not even 2 hours ago, and it has shipped already....wow!)
