I don't understand the comment, in the context of being an "enabler"

My point was that amateur golfers who criticize pros as playing "terrible" have often been similar to football and baseball fans who yell at their team or a player and telling them "you suck" and other creative phrases of derision. I find that in most cases these individuals are intellectually incapable of making such judgments that should be left to actual professionals.

IMHO, such value judgments should be made with a little more grace and less condemnation.

      I love Rancho Park too!  I don't get out there much due to the 405 issues (Im in Santa Clarita) but I do try and get out there every now and then...last time out was in January where I eagled 17 (left green) with a holed 145 yard third shot ! Rancho is a great course! And at 24 bucks weekday with the city card, an absolute steal!

      I have played PGA West, at least one or two courses in there, but I am not sure if I've played any of the courses used to host the Hope. I played a course that I think both isn't PGA West and is host to the Hope a few years ago, possibly at a TST outing, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right one. I have played Rancho Park plenty of times (exactly half of my sub-80 rounds were there!) and Wilson/Harding.  Rancho Park might be my favorite golf course among those I've played more than a half dozen times.   Hopefully I'll get a chance to play TPC Scottsdale, maybe this August or September, and at some point I think there was a PGA Tour event in Las Vegas, I should get up there and play those course(s).
