I was playing in a tournament at my home course, and my friend 7 Putted, plus 2 strokes for hitting a moving ball!

He was too frustrated after his 7th putt and just knocked it in as the ball was rolling past the hole.

He ended up with a 11 on the hole..

In my bag...

Driver: Titleist 910 D2 9.5*

Fairway: R9 3 Wood *15, Tour Edge Exotics 5 Wood

Hybrid: Taylormade 4 Rescue Dual *22

Irons: 4-PW Taylormade Rac's

Wedges: Vokey Spin Milled 56.11, Vokey Spin Milled 60.07

Yep... had one today, and two three putts -- but you would have had seen the putts to understand (fair but just barely.) Still shot 78 with all that going on. There are days when it just does not go in, and yet I still think I am a very good putter.

The real question is have you ever five putted (or more?) Years ago, at a college tournament on a relatively short easy course, the head pro overheard some players trash talking his course. He set the pins the second day. I know there was at least one five putt. Let me set the pins at Augusta National and I would almost promise some four putts from the pros. Not sure what would consititue a legal pin placement for the PGA however.

      I love Rancho Park too!  I don't get out there much due to the 405 issues (Im in Santa Clarita) but I do try and get out there every now and then...last time out was in January where I eagled 17 (left green) with a holed 145 yard third shot ! Rancho is a great course! And at 24 bucks weekday with the city card, an absolute steal!

      I have played PGA West, at least one or two courses in there, but I am not sure if I've played any of the courses used to host the Hope. I played a course that I think both isn't PGA West and is host to the Hope a few years ago, possibly at a TST outing, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right one. I have played Rancho Park plenty of times (exactly half of my sub-80 rounds were there!) and Wilson/Harding.  Rancho Park might be my favorite golf course among those I've played more than a half dozen times.   Hopefully I'll get a chance to play TPC Scottsdale, maybe this August or September, and at some point I think there was a PGA Tour event in Las Vegas, I should get up there and play those course(s).
