Advice on clubs

Hey I am an 8 handicapper and have basically gave my old clubs to my younger brother and have bought some new ones so far. In my signature you can see the clubs i have bought. SO far i need advice on either a 13.5 or 15.5 degree titleist 9092 3 wood. The next decision would be getting a 21* 909h hybrid as i have found it considerably difficult to find consistency with my 3 iron.

Does it need to be a Titliest? I noticed a lot of people buying clubs because of the manufacturer (Titleist, TM, Mizuno) and Im not convinced it is what makes them a better golfer.

I say hit more than just the titleist and figure which one works the best. TO answer your question (or not to answer your question), what distance gap are you trying to fill and what ball flight are you looking for. The 13.5 will have a lower ball flight with some added roll vs the 15.5. Buy the club that fits what you need. Not an answer, but hopefully it helps

well from what i have heard from a golf pro is that the ap2's are heavier than most irons. The fairways woods and hybrids supposedly match that weight allowing for a seamless transition. That is what a golf pro told me and thats why i got the 909 h drive 275 yards avg. 17* off tee bout 210 so club for round 240-250. i have played with a traditional 15* but i dont know of the advantages of the 13.

I wouldn't put too much weight on that claim as a reason to buy Titleist fairway woods, not that you shouldn't buy them.

The Titleist woods have really impressed me, and I think mine is in the bag to stay, and if you already like the driver, the 3 wood will prolly make you happy, too. As far as what degree it depends on what you want to use it for. I can hit my 13 degree just fine from the fairway, but it is going to be harder to get up in the air than the 15 degree, so be sure to make hitting it off the deck your first priority. Where the 13 degree shines is off the tee. If you use your 3 wood on tight driving holes, or play a tighter course from time to time, I would recommend the 13 degree, but make sure you can hit it off the deck, too. The 909 woods are awesome. Are you sold on the 909f2? or would you consider the 909f3... I found the f3 to be less workable, but alot more consistent for me, so I'd at least check one out. Again, it depends what you want. A little longer and more workable= F2, and more consistent with a boring ballflight= F3.... I chose the F3 with 13 degrees of loft. Here is a review of both the 909 f2 and f3 woods, and here is a review of the 909 hybrids, both from the main site, and by a guy who knows alot about this kind of thing.
