OK so i am changing my swing after playing the best golf of my life (and it is working), but i need to be able to see my swing EVERYDAY on video and sometimes look at it on the range to make sure im not going back into old habits. Unfortunately my cellphone doesnt have a video camera(with so many gadgets in the iphone why couldnt they put a vid camera in!!!) so i would have to take a bigger camera. I have two cameras-a small digital camera that takes video but very nice so i dont want to mess it up, or a rather big video camera that i think would be a pain to carry around. So my question is how would you do this, or how do you do this? Do you keep it in a case or what? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I use a staff size golf bag so I can easily fit a normal sized digital video camera in it's own carry bag and a tripod in my side pockets. If your worried about damaging the camera then you could try to find a used one on ebay or a garage sale so if it gets damaged it's not the end of the world.

I do recommend using a tripod if you have one. I can adjust it to get the perfect angle when taping my swing.

I'm sure there are other smaller gadgets out there that will do the trick. I'm not up to speed on all these iPhone, uPhone, myPhone, hisPhone, herPhone,,,,,ect. I'm one of the last few holdouts that doesn't own a cell phone. Funny thing is years ago I use to build cell towers for Eriksson :)

There are a lot of smaller high def digital camcorders on the market. Look for something in the extreme compact range, just ensure it has a high frames-per-second rate otherwise you won't get too much from the analysis. Also, a tripod is a must. They should fit fairly easily into your golf bag.
