I suggest Nike PD Soft (the green box). They fly nice, yet feel great around the green and on approach shots. They go for around ~$17 a box which you cant hate either. No reason to spend more with what this ball gives you.

I tried out the Titleist DT roll today and hated it. I had no control it would just keep rolling, usually off the fairway and then I'd lose it in rough about 4 feet off the fairway because I think I'm going blind.

The callaway hex balls are great, but a little pricey.

Bridgestone e6 is pretty nice too and in that price range. I dont play these regularly but was impressed when I did one round.

Those are my recommendations, I dont spend too much on balls because its just like throwing a $20 bill in the water hazard for me.

Top Flite D2 feel, hands down the best "budget" ball ever!

I actually gamed them today for the entire round, and man, my approach shots (the ones that hit the green anyways ) would hit the green and come back about 6 inches to a foot.... All my ball marks on the green were in front of the ball!

15 bucks for a box of 15 cant be beat...

My driver SUCKED ass today and I lost like 2 sleeves of balls, but didnt mind so much.... If they were 4 dollar Pro V1's I'd be pissed.....

Try them out, Im sure youll love them.

    • Welcome back! Evolvr.com? I don't use the full extreme end of it, and that's probably dipped to 75% or so nowadays. But I use the sole more than I don't, yeah. Also… it's good to learn this shot: Middle up. Not generally outside your feet in either direction. I generally have it slightly forward of center, yeah. Short version: tip your upper body in the direction of the slope. Look at the GC3. You can find them for really good prices sometimes.
    • 3 rainouts in a row….that’s SAD Sorry, I’m in MI or I would take you up on a round.
