Howdy,

Just joined this forum. I don't like Callaway Warbirds, I like WWII warbirds, LOL. I'm a 10-11 handicap. Played for 40 years now. I'm not a "bomber" although I crank a 300 yarder once in awhile. Mostly 250-260 and occassional 280 with driver. Getting much better with the irons. Got a new set of fitted Pings and starting to hit them nice. Short game is where I score best. I chip really good and putt pretty good. Got my first ace a couple weeks ago. Am a metallurgist for a transmission company and design Microsoft flight simulator aircraft as a hobby.

(for anyone interested)

Love this game and when I can't play it I like to talk about it (at least until hunting season).

Welcome to the forum. I am a Cheesehead transplant who's been stuck in MN for 9 years. Can't complain too much however with the number of courses to check out.

It will be a cold day in hell before I cheer for the Vikings. Packers and Badgers only.

    • Okay, I'm genuinely curious about this "biodegradable leather" trend in golf. Are we talking snake oil here? I mean, golf balls, clubs... they all end up in the water eventually. Is this just greenwashing, or is there actually a real environmental benefit? And honestly, does it even perform as well as traditional leather? I don't want to sacrifice distance for the planet, you know? Anyone with real-world experience with these eco-friendly golf goods? Spill the tea!
