Anyone know what the rule is (or where I can find the ruling) on the eligibility of amateurs playing for cash prizes? Is it not allowed completely? Different by region?

The rules are very simple. If you play for cash, you are a professional golfer..... But.... 90% of all amateurs have played in a cash tournament and will never play in a USGA amateur event, so it doesn't matter. College kids are not supposed to play in cash tournaments, but I have knows many that do. These tournaments are 200 to enter with a Calcutta and they are two man or three man best balls, or scrambles. Technically, everyone that plays in one is a "professional golfer" but in reality, are they...?

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

it's 750 retail value.. not cash. Hole-in-ones are different. You can win 1 million for an ace and still be an amateur... except putting contests and stuff like that.
