Here are some videos from a local tournament held at our club every year. The videos are really of a nice quality and they show nice views so I thought I'd share with you.


This guy is one of the best amateur golfers in the Middle East, if not THE best. I think he's won the Middle East Cup (or whatever it's called) several times before. Plays scratch. He's golf wasn't in it's best that day though. Seen here driving from the 16th tee.





Two guys, 3 handicap and 7 handicap. Both very skilled players. Same tee.




Same guy (7 handicap) 2nd shot on the 17th. Not a very good shot, ended up in the green side bunker.

And he saves par.

Geez, is that 1st guy that slow his whole round??? I thought the video stopped for a sec, but the cars and people were still moving behind him. That was rather ridiculous.

Looked like they've got some BIG gophers there too.

      Great year last year. Who winning this year could be another special story? Brooks? Spieth? Or Aberg? An AM? I dont know if anything could top last year

      I love Rancho Park too!  I don't get out there much due to the 405 issues (Im in Santa Clarita) but I do try and get out there every now and then...last time out was in January where I eagled 17 (left green) with a holed 145 yard third shot ! Rancho is a great course! And at 24 bucks weekday with the city card, an absolute steal!

      I have played PGA West, at least one or two courses in there, but I am not sure if I've played any of the courses used to host the Hope. I played a course that I think both isn't PGA West and is host to the Hope a few years ago, possibly at a TST outing, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right one. I have played Rancho Park plenty of times (exactly half of my sub-80 rounds were there!) and Wilson/Harding.  Rancho Park might be my favorite golf course among those I've played more than a half dozen times.   Hopefully I'll get a chance to play TPC Scottsdale, maybe this August or September, and at some point I think there was a PGA Tour event in Las Vegas, I should get up there and play those course(s).
