I just ordered some Mizuno MP-58s with the KBS Tour Shafts after going through the Mizuno fitting process at a local shop. The shafts had a tangible different relative to the stock TTDG. Anybody have any experience/thoughts on the KBS shafts?

don't have personal experience with the shafts but i can say that more and more companies are using them as stock shafts for their high end player's clubs. it seems to be a great shaft, kenny perry plays it and has had great results with it.

Like most higher end shafts, the tolerances are much tighter. Additionally, a set of KBS Tour shafts will have matching shaft weights so you'll have consistency throughout each iron.

Almost every company does things like this. Project X shafts have the same tolerances as does KBS. If you try the Tour Issued Dynamic Gold shafts, you will find their tolerances and weight sorting process is almost identical to KBS Tour Shafts, too. That's why they are more expensive than the standard Dynamic Gold shafts.

Which flex did you hit? FWIW, you can take them to any fitter and have them placed on a frequency machine. From there, he can dial in the shafts to match all your swing numbers.
