Titleist 775's?

So Im getting rid of the MP 57's because I have no confidence in the 3-6 irons....

Sometimes I pure them (5 iron 190 yards), most of the time I dont (5 iron 160 yards)

I can learn to deal, like the original plan, but Im just not having fun out there when I know my third shot is gonna be a tough up/down...

Ive shot an 80 with these, and Ive shot a 95 with them. Im just too damn inconsistent to use these.

Which brings me to my question. Im looking to spend 200-300 on a used set of irons, and im looking at the titleist 775's.

How do they compare to the 57's. I read that they are more GI in the 3-5 and more traditional in the shorter irons....

Is this true? Anyone have experience with these?

You could always look at a couple of MP FLI-HI's to replace the 3 & 4 irons, and then maybe a MX-200/300 or MX-1000 5 & 6 iron. Just saying, if you like the MP-57, it's an option until you feel you're ready to get back into the longer MP-57's.

Not sure on the 775's, but I saw in your B/S/T thread where you mentioned the AP1's. Got them in today. Look for a review sometime soon. I hit them a couple hours ago, and am impressed thus far. I don't know that you'll find them for $300 though.

I want to do that but then I have to drop another 2-300 bucks.... I cant do that right now, so hopefully I can get a trade or sell em here or on ebay, and just get a set I can hit better for now.

Ahh, very true, didnt think about that. Each FLI-HI would run you $100+ each... Sorry bout that. Good luck with your search. Wish I could give you some helpful info on the 755's, but I'd hate to lie to you
