I consider switching from My Cobra FP to the Mizuno MX-300 (was also thinking about the S2 Forged... but the loft angle is too strong)

Looking at the specs, the loft angle are pretty similar,
the offset seem to be bigger on the Mizuno (which was a surprise for me)
the shaft length is a little bit shorter on the Mizuno.

I'm a decent iron player 9 iron goes around 140 yards and usually pretty straigth (sometimes fade, sometimes draw)

anybody know what are the major differences I can expect to feel from switching from the cobra?

distance lost?
accuracy?

Does the Mizuno are a lot more difficult to hit?

Thank you very much in advance

What's the problem with your irons at the moment?

My irons are the strongest part of my game and I'm using FP's

Mizuno MX300----Cobra FP
3i- 20*---------------20*
4i- 23*---------------23*
5i- 26*---------------26*
6i- 29*---------------29*
7i- 33*---------------32.5*
8i- 37*---------------36.5*
9i- 41*---------------40.5*
Pw- 45*--------------44.5*
Gw- 50*--------------49.5*

Not much difference in specs and that's only if they're all spot on which I'd be willing to bet a MINT they're not.

My FP are quite good irons, but every year at least for the longer clubs I need to go to the repair shop and fix the club (the head seems to want to get out).

I don`t like too strong loft because I don`t want to rely on 3/4 swing for shorter shot (I'm not the best at it).

why do you have to do a 3/4 swing?

just go down a club.
