Since these 2 drivers come from the same parent company, the descriptions seem to be identical and shape wise look identical. Would one be safe to purchase either one?

Anyone hit them both? Expierence? Opinions?

I'm starting do think of possibly replacing the 907.

I've hit both the 909D3 & the S9-1 Pro D, similar in ball flight but for me thats about where the similarities end. The Pro-D face is much deeper and it's got those Cobra dimples on the top and while it doesn't have the awful Cobra sound of their past drivers the sound off the face just isn't nearly as good as the 909.

I think launch and spin characteristics are very close to the same so you're best off just getting which one you like the looks feel and sound of best.

If your looking at the D3, you wanna look at the s9 pro S, not D. The s is a more shallow face and will be the more workable, as will the D3. the basic thing is the cobra will be a bit longer i feel, and a touch more forigiving, while the titty will be a bit better sounding and will have that titty feel.

I hit the i15 at golfsmith a few weeks ago, awesome club and great results on their beat up velocity launch monitor. Solid sounding club for sure and my shot dispersion was within 1 foot into the net that was about 10 yards out in the hitting section. Nothing but great things to say about the Titliest drivers also, still wish i would not have sold my 905R, they have improved it since then in the 909 series.

So hit away and get fit. I would suggest the doppler radar type monitors (not sure of the name) on a real driving range to get the most proper fitting.

I got fit for ping they say i15, 9.5* w/ avixcore x flex. (had same experience with th i15, 280 carry every ball within a foot of each other with a slight fade) I had my 907 fit when I bought it and I ended with 9.5* w/ v2 stiff. Love the v2 never hit a driver this well, whatever I end up with I will definately get fit
