I don't follow the PGA Tour that much, but to get myself better acquainted with the game I love so much and its Pros, I am entering into a Tour Pool this year. The entry form shows last years earnings, but rather then use that as my guide for selecting the best players, I thought I would solicit the help from you knowledgeable people. Please Pick one player whom you think will earn the most from each group.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Group 1: Age has caught up with Vijay, and who knows when it's going to do the same to Perry. It's hard not to go with Mickelson in this group; an average season for him is a career year for even players of Stricker and Furyk's caliber.
Group 2: Neither Glover nor Yang will be able to top their 2009 seasons. Johnson has become a remarkably steady player; choose him over the streaky Ogilvy and the inconsistent O'Hair.
Group 3: Goosen and Harrington are not going to compete in as many PGA Tour events as the other three. Mahan has the most potential to do big things this upcoming season.
Group 4: Not a sexy group. Again, Els will not compete in as many Tour events as the rest. Clark and Donald are two players who find themselves on the leaderboard on Sunday, but haven't won as many tournaments as they probably should (in the U.S., at least). I've already predicted that Donald will win a major next year, and I'm standing by that call.
Group 5: Two young, explosive players looking to prove something after mediocre years versus three older guys doing more or less the same thing they've been doing for over a decade. I like Kim, but Allenby may be the steadier pick.
Group 6: Campbell has the best standing in the World Golf Rankings (62rd) of the group. That's not saying much, but it's the best rubric I can muster out of five players coming off of unremarkable years.
Group 7: Garcia's got a lot to prove in 2010. The other four players are going to play in more Tour events than him, but I don't think that's going to matter in the end.
Group 8: The Part-Timers Club. I can't stress this enough: McIlroy, McIlroy, McIlroy.
Group 9: I'm still not sold on Scott, and it's still not clear whether Immelman is back from his wrist injuries. Appleby is the safe choice.
Champions Tour: Lehman and Couples may spend more time on the regular tour next year. Langer is the dominant player on the senior circuit.
LPGA Group 1: As good as Shin was in 2009, Asian players tend to burn out after big years in the States. I don't want to go near Ochoa after her year, either. Creamer looked much better in the second half of the year.
LPGA Group 2: For everyone's sake, it had better be Wie.

Group 1: P. Mickelson - Have to pick him since he is a sure bet to win multiple tournaments.

Group 2: Z. Johnson - He is a very consistent player.

Group 3: H. Mahan - I am betting that he will have a breakout season.

Group 4: T. Clark - Not sure if he will have a breakthrough victory, but he will have a lot of top 10s.

Group 5: A. Kim - Betting on his potential here.

Group 6: C. Campbell - Not really all that confident in him, but I think he is the best player in this group.

Group 7: S. Garcia - The best player in this group.

Group 8: R. Mcillroy - This kid is amazing, I think he will win a major pretty soon, watch out.

Group 9: A. Scott - Not very confident in him, but he is still better than others in this group.

Goup 10 (Champions): F. Couples - He can still finish in the top 10s in some tournaments.

Group 11(LPGA): L. Ochoa - Betting that she will bounce back.

Group 12(LPGA): M. Wie - I am from Hawaii, so I will pick Wie here.

    • Day 11: Worked on putting with the metronome
    • I added to total today by hopping it in on the first hole for an eagle. A short par 4, I hit 4 wood to 110. With a little breeze in my face I hit a 50 degree gap wedge to 2 feet and watched it hop into the hole for an eagle 2!
    • Sounds good. Text me if you have any questions. You have a good setup, too, and so long as you can get good camera angles… you should be good. https://skillest.com/@iacas
    • Day 14 (September 18).  Morning practice, despite questionable weather (it's raining).   Worked on chipping at first, including run-ups with UW and PW;  I've noticed lately some of my near-GIRs are missing forward, with nothing but grass ahead of me, but 20-30 yards to the pin.  After a few misadventures putting those lately, I wanted to at least get a feeling for what a 30-yard chip shot that doesn't have the variance of my quarter lob wedge would feel like.  I still think "putt when you can putt" is right, but... I am less sure I have a 30 yard putt in me.  Range time also, of course, same routine as the past week or so (drill, 3-4 slow shots, etc).   Did not get to the putting green as it was starting to come down a bit more. Darn, it really is raining.  And I thought today would be a perfect day to play, seeing as how it's 9-18 and all.
    • I'm in the same boat.  I think the last team event I got really excited for was the 2019 Presidents' Cup.  When I first got into golf, the Ryder Cup was an event (one among many) I used to plan my schedule around to make sure I'm able to watch it.   I'm not sure I realized how close it was until I saw this thread pop up.
