Hello everyone Im in the market for a new putter and the pro shop i use swears by the kirk currie putters. They like the fact that you can "fit" the putter to my eye line, with bending and fitting much like an iron and the other reason is setting of the weight of the putter is customizable. Currie isnt a very popular name out there in the game, but i do know he has been making putters for years!! So just wondering peoples inputs on that putter, i would be looking at getting the san saba, because when testing putters i like the mid-mallet feel.

He used to design for Wilson, I don't think he does anymore. I own a WS KC#1 and a finer blade will not be found and you can customize head weight and also comes with butt weight adjustments. High dollar putters when they came out, but now can be had at a reasonable price. I've owned a couple, but the KC1 will stay in My possession.

I have a 33" San Saba that is 2* flat. The fitting process was very cool and I got to choose how I wanted the hosel bent. It was all done right in front of me.

My previous best was 38 putts. The two rounds with the putter is 33 and 35.

Do it. You won't regret it.

      I added to total today by hopping it in on the first hole for an eagle. A short par 4, I hit 4 wood to 110. With a little breeze in my face I hit a 50 degree gap wedge to 2 feet and watched it hop into the hole for an eagle 2!

      Day 14 (September 18).  Morning practice, despite questionable weather (it's raining).   Worked on chipping at first, including run-ups with UW and PW;  I've noticed lately some of my near-GIRs are missing forward, with nothing but grass ahead of me, but 20-30 yards to the pin.  After a few misadventures putting those lately, I wanted to at least get a feeling for what a 30-yard chip shot that doesn't have the variance of my quarter lob wedge would feel like.  I still think "putt when you can putt" is right, but... I am less sure I have a 30 yard putt in me.  Range time also, of course, same routine as the past week or so (drill, 3-4 slow shots, etc).   Did not get to the putting green as it was starting to come down a bit more. Darn, it really is raining.  And I thought today would be a perfect day to play, seeing as how it's 9-18 and all.
