I agree with your sentiments kpaulhus and spuds. He is just as big of a baby as JD. I just wanted to know the story behind what I saw. Ironically, he made the putt that I saw in with that hybrid or whatever and it was not that short, about 6 feet, I believe.

Does anyone have video of when Sergio slung his putter into the green?

You guys see that Tommy Armour clip on golf channel where hits that same chip 5 times and it keeps rolling back to him? Then he slams the wedge into the fringe and leaves it stuck.

Good times.

I'm into etiquette all that and you wouldn't catch me throwing a club ever. But in a round with friends, I think it's hilarious to watch people lose control and throw clubs, break stuff, swear loudly, shotgun a beer to "change the luck"...etc.

The frustration is so strong that you need a release every once in a while...but more to the point...it's funny as hell to watch.

I once had a teammate who snap-hooked his drive into the woods on the 8th hole in a 9-hole high school tournament. It was a new titanium driver (this was 10+ yrs ago). He got so irate that he threw the club in the air form the tee box and it got stuck in a huge cluster of trees about 40 feet above the ground. We all started laughing and he proceeded to try and dislodge the driver by throwing his 3 wood up in the trees. Well, the the driver AND the 3 wood remained stuck in those trees for that day. I made a comment, something to the effect of, "Wow, titanium DOES makes it fly farther [referring to the club itself and not the ball]!" Good times.
