New/Old driver

Today i picked up a Titleist 983k. I hit my dad's buddy's one last night at the range and liked it alot. And you can get them for really cheap used so i said why not. It's alot better for these tighter courses that were playing now for school golf. I was just wondering who all still played this driver. I know alot of middle-aged guys that still play this driver over the 905T and R.

I have been toying with the idea of replacing my 3 wood with an old school 975D with 11.5* loft at 43" (now if I could just find one in great shape). Would be great for tight par 4's and these are fairly easy to hit off the deck. At 260cc's they are not much larger than today's 3 woods.
