The Think System

Thursday I was able to play most of a round, first since November. Started on the back 9, 18 is a sweeping right hander par 5 up hill, (Kansas hill), which is hella long if you drive to the left side of the fairway. I was in the first cut of the right side off the tee and could get close with a 3 wood if I could cut it around the trees of the sweep. I set my jaw and began, "I think I can cut, I think I can cut"; I hit one of the best rockets ever, dead straight, had it not been for a tree on the far side of the fairway I would have been on the tenth tee box.
My point I guess is that I so admire you people who can strike the ball and control a nuance that will provide the shape you want. Me I will just keep working on the Think System and waiting on those band uniforms.

The Think System is great; just make sure you don't drift into the Overthink Sytem.
