Hello

I've been looking at getting a pair of Oakley Sunglasses and have a buddy that is offering up his Flak Jacket Asian Fit glasses at a pretty good price. Unfortunately, he is over 200 miles away and I cannot try them on nor do any of the stores around me carry such a style to try out. Just wondering if the Asian fit is truly that much different than the original Oakleys? Here is a link describing the item...

I have a fairly narrow and tall head (I am definitely not Asian!). Think these glasses would work for me or would I be better off just sticking with the original style? Thanks.

The glasses ( Frames) are the same. The Asian Fit has smaller rubber inserts on the nose. If you get the glasses call Oakley and they will mail you. Remember you need the cleaning cloth that comes with them. I have two pair and they are great, theu also have a new carry case with hard sides. I am sure you have looked into the price new on the Oakley web, so I would expect your second hand price to be in the $40 range.

Pretty sure this is not correct. According to what I read on their site, the frames are wider on the Asian fit. I don't know how much stock you can put in a sunglasses hut employee, but I also asked them (skinny face on me as well) and the fellow I spoke with said to avoid the Asian fit for me.
