Had a putting lesson today and it turns out my putting is so s**t because my right hand is turning over the putter at impact causing me to pull putts.

He got me putting cack-handed and it's working great


note: cack-handed means reversing the grip.

My Clubs
Driver - LV4 10* R flex

Also called cross-handed, I have used this grip for several year. Part of the benefit for me - it's a different grip than my full swing, and I get a unique putting feel .

I find it gives me a smoother stroke overall, especially on the takeaway. Also, it seems the leading low left hand cuts down on putts that end up 6 inches short.

The right hand shouldn't even be involved in the putting stroke. For me the right hand very lightly gripped and just along for the ride when putting.

I don't just putt cack-handed,I use the cack-handed grip for every golf shot with every club
