I have had my eyes on a new PING hoofer bag
I tried one on in the store and could not get ovet the strap system
I have read that they are the best ........ really?

I even loaded it up w clubs etc., and could not get used to it
I wear the bag right shoulder first and the stupid strap felt like it was cutting into my arm pit
is there a "trick" or whats the deal w them?

Strange, I don't think there is a particular trick to use these straps...
But it seems that hoofer bags and this strap system is loved or hated...heyy, I love mine!...

The Ping Latitude I had, had the "Ping retractable strap" that lengthens under weight and retracts when you take the weight off the shoulder strap.
I got on fine with this over both shoulders but the bag lasted a year before the piece of elastic band that makes the strap retract snapped and the strap did not retract anymore :(

well i picked up a Hoofer Vantage
they are normally $249 and it was on sale for $129

this one actually retracts at the top and bottome
the Freestyle i tried last year, only retracted from the top, which isnt as effective
I had the sales duded load it up and show me hoe to properly adjust it

i know get why so many people play them

happy w the purchase so far
