R7 425 Driver Loft

I have always used a 9.5 lofted driver but find that my new R7 425 9.5 has a lower than normal ball flight. The slight draw configuration seems to be the right one for me, so rather than changing weight configs, I am considering changing to a 10.5. Bit mystified because I thought the bigger headed R7 425 would promote a higher ball flight. Has anybody else experienced this? If so, what did you do to remedy?

I had a 580xd before the r7 425, both at 9.5 and I think my ball flight is higher with the r7. Might just be differing swing paths.

Had a similar problem with my R7 425 9.5. Using the Golfsmith 90/90, I switched to a R7 460 9.5. After switching the 12 gram to a special ordered 8 gram in the heel, I have been hitting it extremely well. Just came off a golf weekend where I shot my career round. I credit my new driver and putter with my success.

      Well, if your frame of reference spins twice during the swing, then Bryson's ab/adduction is more like 780 degrees so there! (Yes I'm being silly, but not sure it's any sillier than what your pal Andy is doing...)

      Update: Brandon Sorsby has decided to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft. He will not play for Texas Tech in the upcoming season.  From my perspective, I think he did the right thing. I hope he gets the correct help for his gambling addiction. I say the right thing, because I would be worried that the stress from all of this now and throughout the entire year would not be beneficial towards his mental health.  If an NFL team picks him up, then there really isn't any pressure for him to play immediately.
