Yep had one today, last two rounds I have been hitting my 3 wood fat (not my irons or driver) so I went to work on it today and was hitting the matt before the ball (again Irons were fine) until I noticed I seemed to be gripping it almost at the end of the grip, so I moved my hands a little down the grip and hey presto long and straight instead, of short, duffed and right. Not sure why I was gripping like this as I was not gripping this high with my irons and driver?

Yes. Many times. But the range and the golf course are two different time zones, two different zip codes, two different universes for me.

Ive recently made a huge discovery at the driver range, last week i started off hitting every single club in my bag on a 140 yard hook. When i tried to stop my hook by taking a more outside swing path and standing a little closer I immediatly started bombing the ball. My average round was around 110 before this week when i went out and shot a 96, my first round below 100! Ive been working on it everyday since then, scheduled another lesson, and I seriously believe I can do even better than that next time out. Its amazing how one thing changed me from shanking to hitting the sweet spot every time.
