Hello Everyone, I'm looking to purchase a 13* 3 wood and would like one that plays very well from the deck and tee as I will be using it for both. I'm looking at old and new clubs and wandering if the new is much longer or forgiving? The clubs I'm looking at are the Warbird,Big Bertha 2004,X tour 08 and the Diablo Edge Tour. Thanks , Sand_Man

My favorite club is my original Callaway Big Bertha 5-wood. Can't go wrong with a club you have confidence in.

I've used the Warbird and 2004, not a fan of either of them from the tee as they have smaller faces. They are great from the rough as they both have the traditional "Warbird" sole plate. But like I said, I think you can do better if you are going to be using it a lot from the tee.

I have used the Warbird and the X from 2006. I have also used a BB Ti from 2005 16* 3W. I like the 16* as it has a huge face,

the x is very small and not so good for me from the tee. I liked the Warbird better than the X. PS - The Warbird is for sale if you are interested. I don't have the game to warrant a 13* 3+ anymore.
