There's a big tournament for Juniors coming up in the summer.

Applications have to be in by the end of May and you need to be under handicap 16.
I don't have an official handicap anymore since my local course has gone into receivership.

Any idea's how I'd be able to enter it?

My Clubs
Driver - LV4 10* R flex
Wood - sam snead persimmon 2 wood (for windy days)
Hybrid burner tour launch 20* stiff flex.

Does the R&A; have a public players club?

In Canada, the different golf associations (e.g. Alberta Golf Association, BCGA, etc) all have links to to a public players club (PPC) which exists only on-line. You pay $40 per year to join, then you enter scorecares to establish an RCGA handicap which is then valid accross Canada.

There are also instruction to set up your own players club - apparently it's quite easy to do - they really try and encourage people to play and carry a handicap index.
