I'm hitting a 6 iron here off the deck. It's gone around 150 yards and around 5 yards to the right.
My usual ball flight is a fade. Bad shots are pulls or slices.

I'm currently working on delaying the shoulder turn on the downswing to stop me coming over the top.

Comments and suggestions welcome!

I think you can do your game a favor by sliding your hips into the ball more aggressively than trying to consciously slow anything down.

I'll have to give that a try.
I went up the range earlier to try delaying the shoulder turn, but it left me with a nasty hook....

Curse this wretched game! lol.
Still it's not all bad, this was my swing 5 months ago....

I was a lot more consistent back then too!

new swing is looking a lot better at the top of the backswing, nice work, it's paying off

Seems you're still coming over the top (outside-in), like you said. agreed with iacas in that you should be more aggressive with your hips rather than trying to slow your shoulders. your shoulders will follow the hips. THOUGH, in my experience, with more aggressive hips you have to be careful of spin-outs. it's a work in progress, stupid game ;) good job though, your swing is looking loads better

Can anyone back me up on this? but it seems you are reaching just a TAD bit at your setup. maybe it's just the camera angle.
