white hot to bettinard

i saw the mizuno bettinardi black carbon deal on golf pride now my moneys burning a hole in my pocket. they are gorgeous and i would love to have one. im currently using a white hot blade, prolly 5-6 years old with a winn giant pistol grip on it. ive been an average putter, nothing great my entire life and the giant grip was the best improvement on my putting in years. would this be a good upgrade? and what differences will i see in the 2 putters?

I cant say what the difference you will see is but I am of the opinion that if it isn't broke dont fix it. I used a White Hot #1 for a couple of years and was avg between 30-32 putts a round. Then I saw a SC that I just had to have and I gamed that all last year. My avg went up to 33-35 putts per round. Then a couple of weeks ago I was having a day that is the stuff of nightmares. I thought I had worked out my putting issue during the week but when out on the course it seemed like the ball was coming off the face with all kinds of weird angles. I switched back to my WH #1 last weekend and promptly rolled 28 putts for the day. Now I know putting is mostly in your head (some tech aspects aside) and there is NOTHING wromg with the SC but obviously there is something to be said for golfing with an "old friend". So with that said good luck on your purchase and give it some time but there is a reason why most people change drivers like underwear but keep a couple of putters close by. Just my $.02

i really appreciate the input. i just feel like im out growing my putter and i definitely dont strike it well enough to stick by it for decades lol. i dont have to get something asap but if i find the right deal ill make a purchase
