So I picked one of these up from TGW since they were on sale, and I've been on the market for a new putter. One of my major issues is alignment when it comes to pretty much my whole game, but its definitely a problem with my putting. The VP in the title means "Visual Performance" which has to do with a small yellow area on the putter that, if your eyes are misaligned, becomes visible. This is definitely an obvious visual feedback when it comes to eye alignment, now I just need to work on aligning the rest of my body haha...and grooving a dependable putting stroke (lessons are in order :P). I haven't used it really for a whole round yet, but I used it on the putting green comparing it to my SC, and I definitely like that it puts a good roll on the ball, my only issue is that it seems to have a very upright lie angle. I don't have a bent over stance, so its likely more upright than anything, but the shaft still seems so upright that if I really want to line up the aiming lines, it puts me in a very awkward stance with my arms. This could of course be a posture or grip issue, but until I figure out how to remedy it, I'm going to probably just not worry a whole lot about it. I did take a few pictures to upload, hopefully they work:

For the price, I can't complain that it came with a cover :) (never had one with a cover before lol).

It seems to have a milled face, but for some reason they decided to put an insert in? :P Either way the feel is ok/pretty good.

In this picture you can see the small yellow area that becomes visible if you are misaligned.

Theoretically this is what I should see every time I line up my putter.

And the last one is from the Cleveland Golf website that shows a little better what the alignment aid does:

that's a cool little feature. But don't get too fussy over your mechanics. It's just a block on a stick rolling a ball to a hole. remember, golf is easy!

I have that putter to. The alignment is great! I have hit some great putts with this putter.
Mine doesn't have an upright lie like yours? It's at a normal lie angle which I've compared it to SC, ping and other blade putters. I like mine more of an upright lie like my NC in my sig. The other thing is, I don't like inserts. I wish it didn't have an insert, other wise I would have the lie bent up and I would be using it. I left it alone and going to try to sell it.

I do fuss over mechanics with my putter. It's the difference in making a repeatable swing or not.

So I took it out for a round of 9 holes yesterday and I have to say I definitely like it. I don't necessarily concentrate on the alignment lines/aid part, but I definitely like the roll off of it. Had 2 - 3 putts, 5 - 2 putts, and 2 - 1putts. The 3 putts are my bad anyway, hit it long in one direction, and then coming back I hit it long again. The last one was just on a green that is just a pain to putt because no matter how many times I play it, I can never get the break correct lol, and I made the mistake of being above the hole on a very fast downhill :( Either way I'll be using this instead of my scotty for now I think. If it works out, all I have to find is a new driver, maybe a 3 wood, and might replace my hybrids some different ones :/

    • Day 36: back to some mirror work tonight. Need a bit more forearm roll in my feels to help with the shallowing.
    • _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.
    • Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.
    • I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
    • I haven't been able to practice like I wanted and won't for the next week.  1. The weather sucks in Ohio this year. I have been mostly inside hitting foam balls. Just kind of my basic stuff.  2. I woke up last Saturday with a left side rib muscle on fire. If I turned or leaned a certain way it would spasm that almost buckled my knees. I have been taking a break to let that settle. I don't want to get a long term injury. I think I pinched a nerve or just aggravated a muscles.   3. I am going on a mini-vacation to Florida (screw you Ohio weather) with a friend, and rolling that into a work conference I have next week. I will be with out my clubs for a week.  I will be back next in two Fridays to hit the ground running with some warmer temps and better weather in Ohio, hopefully. I would really like to get more out on the course and the range.
