Yep, after recently joining a country club, I got my first real lesson from the head golf pro. It was mostly just an analysis this time, but we found most of my strengths and weaknesses. Surprisingly, he liked my full swings with driver through nine iron, only wanting to make stance changes to help get my hips open a little quicker. He also thinks alot of my inconsistencies have to do with my clubs. They are slagenzer super game improvement irons with a uniflex graphite shaft. He has a set of Wilson Staff Pi7 irons, S300 stiff shafts, that I am going to buy from him for $100. My big scoring problem, however, is my wedge shots and putting. I keep wanting to turn my hands over with the wedges and keep hitting them fat or thin. He also gave me a couple tips that seemed to really help my putting, such as forgetting about watching my putts so I keep my head and body still at contact through follow through. As you can tell, I am excited about my prospects. I am amazed with the progress I have made since coming back to the game earlier this year after ten years away. With a bit more practice and some better clubs, I think I'll be playing in tournaments (at the club) in no time!

Your desire to change has to be greater than your desire to stay the same.

Of course, I never said I'd be winning or anything...
