I got my first membership on Monday which includes unlimited golf/cart, range, and all other amenities.

So today I was on the range for about an hour and finally got to the point where I could do exactly what I wanted with the ball and shape my shots. I've never felt so accomplished in my life.

The only negative which may not even be a negative is the PGA Pro who I know really well watched me for a bit and critiqued my swing. He pointed out like many others have that I have a baseball swing and am too wristy and only use my arms. He got me turning on my backswing and really following through. I'm going to keep working on that and hopefully that will add some distance as he mentioned. I'm almost tempted to keep my swing after being so satisfied with my shot shaping until he came by. I'm just hoping I can combine the two.

Career Bests:

9 Holes--37 @ The Fairways at Arrowhead-Front(+2)

18 Holes--80 @ Carroll Meadows Golf Course(+9)

Home Course:

1) The Fairways at Arrowhead

2) Mayfair Country Club

Congrats!!! I hope to someday have a membership to a local course as well. As for the pro critiquing your swing...In my opinion there is NO perfect swing. Swings are always going to be critiqued/corrected. Go with what works for you and what you are confident in. Enjoying yourself on the course by hitting the shots you want def. out weighs being able to hit the ball an extra 10 yards but having to deal with the frustration of learning a new swing. Just my opinion.
