New NXT tour ball.

After playing a sleeve of the new nxt tour over the last week or so, im convinced that it is a very nice ball. It does exactly as advirtised with the little bit of extra distance with enough spin to do what you want with it. Its much softer and playable than the last model. At 30 bucks a dozen, its going to be my new regular ball.

Did you see any particular distance gains in comparison to the ProV1s you used to play? Or was it just a minor difference like a couple of yards?

Minor distance. 5 yards at the most. I like the pro v 1 more with the irons, i will admit. I have to swing a little harder with the irons to get the max out of the nxt tour, but its passable for the $20/dozen savings i will get from switching.

NXT Tour is a good ball, in fact I shot one of my lowest rounds with one (72, +1). But I can't see buying it for $30 when I can get TP Blacks or One Tours for the same price. I tear up the NXT Tour faster than the other two urethane-covered balls, and lose some spin on approach shots and around the green.
