Because that's important. If a beautiful swing was the key, that Favret dude would have won the US Open.

LOL his name is Grégory Havret :)

Great win, and a good guy.Straight after his win, he hopped on a private flight to Ireland for the JP Pro Am, and spent the entire flight drinking champagne with J.B.Holmes He got an hour and a half sleep and then headed to the range.I watched him hit balls for a while and thought at the time that he seemed a little out of it and weird, now I know why.Unsurprisingly shot +8, but I thought it was great that he honoured his commitment. He could have easily said he couldn't make it after his win.

A great shot is when you go for it and pull it off. A smart shot is when you don't have the guts to try it. ~ Phil Mickelson.

Poor ryan moore lol i like the guy but his swing looks about the same as the clothes he wears, offbeat. For some reason he has become super inconsistent, guess he shot his load in college golf because he dominated there. Really i just hate how he looks like a dog squatting to take a crap then shoves the club down between his knees. The actual swing is ok but that setup, wow.

Yeah at first it is very weird. However, I found that the more I watch his swing the more comfortable I get with it and the more it makes sense. I watched the Golf in America piece on him the other day, and one thing I noticed is how much darn power and speed he gets out of that swing on the way down. His takeaway is weird (almost like furyk) and very slow, and then his actual forward swing is just an explosion. One thing is for sure, i wish I could hit the ball like that guy. Also, I dont feel like he used it all in up college. He won the Wyndham, and has had a bunch of top 10s and good showings since then. No big wins, but he seems to quietly perform in the big events, definitely flies below the radar
