Interesting phenomenon: I just got back from a week long Caribbean cruise, and played golf two days later...still with "sea-legs"' that constant rocking sensation even when on dry land. Needless to say, a TERRIBLE round, especially putting. Felt like the earth was rolling underneath my feet.

Anyone with a similar experience? Or with suggestions to speed up the recovery of my equilibrium?

I've had the rocking sensation, and I sometimes feel like i'm falling after I ride a roller coaster. I'm still suffering from the falling sensation even now, almost a year after the roller coaster. But I would wait it out, and not play golf until you feel well enough to.

Very normal. It takes 3-7 days to disappear.

Everything is harder after a cruise... especially the cooking and cleaning up after yourself.

It's mainly an equilibrium issue from the ship rolling on the water (as stated above) - I usually play one course as an excursion and I have trouble with spraying the ball because it doesn't seem like I'm still over the ball (I think I've only broken 80 once during cruise golf - however it was at the nicest course I've ever played (Puakea in Lihue, Hawaii)).
