Shot an 89 at my home course on Saturday and shot my best 9 on the front with a 41 and followed up with a 48 on the back with a double on the 18th. Course is 68.8 118 at 6191 yards from the whites. Got 7 pars on the front 9 and only one on the back. I rolled about another 5 to 7 putts just outside the hole that another inch or so would have made the score a lot lower.

I had been going down hill all summer from the start of league, last Thursday got a 54.

Congrats, great job. Your thirst for more scores that start with "8..." will certainly go up. You'll start expecting to shoot near that score, or better. But that's a good thing.

I remember my first time breaking 90, shot 89 as well...had to roll in a 30 footer on the 18th to get the job done. Then didn't break 90 for the rest of the year, but the following Spring it just started happening all the time.
