I am going to regrip my golf clubs.

One question.....

The 2" wide tape when wrapped around the shaft overlaps by a small amount.
If I put two layers on it will have two lots of overwrap?

Is that right and where on the shaft should it overlap?

I overlapped on the bottom. That way its in the bend of my fingers so I dont notice it.
