Alright, I'm trying to decide between the 695.cbs and the 735.cms. I've been looking at 735.cm's for a couple of weeks now, but after reading a dozen or so reviews on them I'm put them up there aswell.

I have Taylormade MB's right now but I can't strike them well at all. I've been to the range a lot in the past weeks to try and get my long irons worked out. I just don't feel confident standing over them at address.

But for the 695.cb's I've heard nothing but good reviews and feedback from my members and pro's a like. I haven't hit them yet, or the 735.cm's either, but I'm hoping on a day off I can get out to the range and try them out.

What do you guys think?

BTW: The Taylormade's are for sale PM or Email me if interested. I have to wait a couple more days until I can post in the For Sale section.

Thanks everyone.

You cant hit the MB's for one thing, because they are for single-digit handicappers and below. Those are what Taylormade Professionals Use. In the same case I would advise for you to go with a Taylormade Club such as the RAC LT's or the Titleist 755's. These are slightly easier to hit and are much better for the handicap you say you have.
Could you Pm me some pics and your asking price of the MB's?I am thinking of replacing my S59's.

Right I understand about the type of player these are for. I love them a lot, I was hoping to work my way up to them but it's just hurting my game some.

I'll get you some pictures tonight.

I just got the 735 in stainless finish with DG S300 shafts and I love them. I had the 775 but I didn't like the high amount of offset in the mid-long irons. And the NS Pro shaft was too high a ball flight. I hit the 755, which are pretty sweet. I only hit the 6 iron, but it was a nice mid ball flight and very forgiving. They are still too pricey for me right now, so I went with the 735, which also have a muscle back 8,9, and P, which serves my purposes for feel as I'm about a 10-12 handicap.

    • What's the rest of that story? Where was the ball going?
    • The criticisms are starting already 🤣 U.S. Open pro criticizes Shinnecock green conditions: 'Bumpy' After playing his first practice round at the 2026 U.S. Open, Michael Kim offered a less-than-glowing review of Shinnecock's "bumpy" greens.   The sand, I don't care about that. If the greens didn't come back as well for latest aerification, that would be a bit of a blunder on Shinnecock I think.
    • Well, if your frame of reference spins twice during the swing, then Bryson's ab/adduction is more like 780 degrees so there! (Yes I'm being silly, but not sure it's any sillier than what your pal Andy is doing...)
    • Update: Brandon Sorsby has decided to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft. He will not play for Texas Tech in the upcoming season.  From my perspective, I think he did the right thing. I hope he gets the correct help for his gambling addiction. I say the right thing, because I would be worried that the stress from all of this now and throughout the entire year would not be beneficial towards his mental health.  If an NFL team picks him up, then there really isn't any pressure for him to play immediately. He can work on himself and his game for the NFL.  From Texas Tech,  "Texas Tech will continue to provide the support and recovery resources Brendan requires on this journey. Furthermore, Texas Tech will not seek return of any amounts already paid to Brendan through his NIL agreements with the University," Campbell wrote. "We wish our best to Brendan, and we offer our prayers to him and his family as he chases his dreams at the next level. This has been an unbelievably painful experience for us all, but I know that his true, underlying character and lessons learned through this experience will ultimately bring him great success on the field of play and in life." Which, I also the right thing to do.
