OK, I'll bite.

Yeah, we have all kinds of names for people from different geographic regions. But those names may change depending on who's doing the name calling. There are so many where do you start?

We call people from NY city "Yackers" up here. Vermonters call anybody from away "Flatlanders." Stupid, but true. They'll even call someone from the Rocky Mountain states a flatlander. People from Boston are "Bostonians" or "Brahmins". Natives of Long Island and the SE New England coast are known as "bonnackers", but almost no one uses that word any more, probably because there are no more bonnackers left. People outside Vermont may call Vermonters "Woodchucks". People from Maine may be called "Downeasters", "Mainers" or "Maineiacs." People who aren't very nice may call people from Massachusetts "M*******s" (usually after being cut off on the highway). People from Nova Scotia may be "Bluenoses" or if you are French, an "Acadian." For that matter, you have "Cajuns" in Louisiana. Newfoundlanders may be called "Newfies." I'm sure there are many more nicknames in the Northeast that I've missed.

Sometimes we use team names to describe people from different states (e.g. Buckeyes for people from Ohio, Sooners for people from Oklahoma, Razorbacks for people from Arkansas, etc.)

There are hundreds of examples.

In my bag:
