Looking for opinions on Distance Master clubs. I want to get a set of clubs for my wife to start, and I want something that is nicely weighted and good quality, and hopefully at a decent price. I found a set of women's lefty DM clubs for sale used. I was looking for an older Callaway/Ping/etc but these came along pretty cheap.

In my Craz-E-Lite bag:

Driver: R7 465 driver 10.5*
Fairway: R7 3W, 5W
Irons: Zing 2 3-9, PW, SWWedge: X-forged 56*Putter: Monza Corza Ball: Various

It's a component club, and likely decent quality. Unless your wife needs non-standard irons, you can likely find a great deal on a used set of name brand clubs.

In the Bag: TaylorMade R11 TP - TaylorMade R7 TP TS - Cleveland Halo - TM TP 2009 3-PW - Vokey SM 52 - Vokey SM 60 - Rife Barbados CS - ProV1x

Look at Callaway Preowned website for some womens iron/hybrids sets. Bought my wife some clubs for Christmas last year. We got hers from Carls Golf as they were on sale. Maybe check The Golf Warehouse, Edwin Watts, or Golfsmith for sale items. The set of Callaway womens clubs are easy to hit. Large cavity irons, graduating as they go up. Got some for my wife (lefty) last year. Wonderful clubs for a beginner.

Sidenote, you are in Charlotte, not far from you is Tot Hill Farm. A must play Mike Stranz design near Asheboro. Look up the website. One of my favorite courses in the state. Very unique layout, elevated tee boxes, etc.. just stunning (and affordable).
