I've been thinking about this thread and my season all day. It's likely that yesterday was the last real round I play for 2010 - it's supposed to get really cold the rest of this week. In July and August I played the best golf I've ever played (3 full seasons now) and made it to my goals of breaking 90 and getting my index into the teens. Then, in late August I went on vacation and lost my swing there. I don't know what happened I just stopped being able to hit the ball. Now, just recently, I seemed to have found my groove again. A couple good range sessions and good ball striking on the course - which is the real test - and then...the season ends. Well, at least I finished on a good note. Better that then going into winter depressed about my game.

Happy off season to you if it applies

Played in beautiful 70 degree weather Sunday 11/21 here in central Oklahoma. It was probably my last day of the season as it's suppose to get into the 30's this week. Some of my friends are getting together Thanksgiving because it's free but that is probably going to be too cold for me.

The first snow is now falling, I think it's time to remove the golf bag from the car and wish the golf swing from the past two months holds during the winter break.

haha. Just looked in the trunk of my car this morning...seeing my lonely golf clubs that haven't been touched in about 1 month. I to need to remove them and place them in my frigid garage. No snow yet here in central Indiana, but its fastly approaching. We had some freak weather come through last night though..storms! ha

Hopefully I will make it to an indoor range this winter and play some virtual golf courses, and maybe if I am lucky make it somewhere down south and play on an actual course. I really need to focus on working out this winter...P90x here I come!

Golf season is over for me. Had a productive fall this year, improved my putting and iron play but I'm ready for a break. I've been going to the gym for a year or so steady but really going to try to go six days a week until spring. I don't have to plan when I do certain muscles now. I hate playing golf with really sore legs so always tried to do them early in the week but of no concern now. I have some goals I'd like to achieve physically so that will be my focus. I'm going to stretch every night with the wife for golf and health, but the gym isn't going to take strokes off my game. I'll be ready to play when March hits. I'll play par two golf (getting up and down for score) in march along with a couple of rounds, then start playing regularly in april. Man that is a long time. I'm really curious to what my index will do next year. I didn't have one this year and feel like I'm playing well so I expect it to go down when I get it again next year.

In St. Louis and will keep playing anytime the high is 45° or above. Played in mid-sixties weather this past weekend, low 70's yesterday and mid-fifties this weekend. My guess is I'll able to get a weekend a month for each of the 3 winter months. Early reports show a see-saw December and February with January being well above normal this winter. Not too worried about winter here.

I get down to Arkansas frequently for work and could use a 55° day down there to get out and play!

    • First going to spain for a long weekend in March probably going to play La Quinta, Los Arqueros and Fina Cortesin, and first week in May will compete in the Crawsnest Tassie at Carnoustie golf links, that will be a full week of golf golf golf and more golf. Did play it last year for the first time and it is awesome.
    • Scrubs is coming back to ABC. February 25.
    • Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.
    • I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
    • Day 151 1-11 flow work today. I've been doing all pause work, so Inwanted to get some rhythm going. Recorded.
