As i have progressed as a golfer over the last year, i have noticed that i am able to swing much harder and still get good contact...except on my driver. When i don't swing as hard i hit my drives around 230-240 and straight. When i swing harder, i am getting it around 260-270 but not as straight. I am still hitting the center of the club face though. Would it help to change to a stiff shaft? I am using the regular stock shaft on my tm r9 460. This problem only occurs with my driver...all the way up to my 3 wood, i am able to swing hard and hit the ball farther and straight. Thanks

I have a similar problem with my driver and 5 wood (they are my only clubs with regular flex shafts). If i swing 80-85% with good contact, I will get very little shape on my drives. When I swing 90+% i start getting much more shape (unwanted) on my shots. My misses are much more exaggerated.

I think a stiff shaft would help me improve accuracy.

Best if there is someplace you can go where they have the electronic equipment to determine the best driver shaft for you.

I am not sure it isn't more you than the driver. Sometimes golfers have a tendancy to swing there drivers harder than other clubs or with a different technique. If you are hitting over draws and hooks, the shaft might be too weak. If it is just left right left right, it probably has more to do with you.
