After considerable success with a new HiBore driver, I'm now looking at the fairway woods. Has anyone had any experience with them and what can I expect i.e. comparing them with The 904F?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Well, you'd likely want to compare them to the 906F. As soon as I can finish some other projects, too, I have a HiBore (and a 906F) fairway wood review to write.

I like the HiBore, but it doesn't feel quite as workable as the Titleist. A bit more stable (forgiving), a tad higher launch.

I have the 15* with the V2 75 stiff

So far Im loving it. I was really pleased with the hiBore 19* Hybrid that came out recently (i didnt try the halo) so started looking into other HiBore Clubs and recently bought this.

From what Ive read, the hiBore driver really needs to be fitted properly to get full benefit, but the fairway seemed to be fine ( I just bought knowing I liked the V2).

As its fall up here in the Northeast, I dont know what my distances are (gain/same/lost) but so far the club feels great. Agreed, high launch, but ive always played Cleveland fairway woods so cant compare to the Titleists (have a 905s in the bag tho).

Im now going to get a 13* (i can use it on my course more effectively) but will keep the 15* for different courses, bag set ups.

In closing: Im very happy with both HiBore clubs Ive bought so far.

Hope this helps!

F-n Awesome!!!! I Had a Callaway X and the HiBore is not any longer - but WAAAAAAAAY straighter and easier to get airborne. I've tried them all. I like this club better than the HiBore rescue or driver! and I have both! I went with a 5 wood in the hi-bore instead of a 3 wood this time. It paid off.

    • I'm good with the bunkers, and the fairways are SUPER wide. Three yards should stop a ball that isn't landing in it from rolling into the hay.
    • I'm a little behind, but I just finished listening to the episode about practicing while on vacation.  I have two vacations coming up this month that I won't be bringing golf clubs with me on, and this was perfectly timed (I'm sure I am not the only one going on vacation in June).   Especially the part about stretching.  I keep putting off adding stretching, with golf in mind, to my daily routine.  I think I'm going to use these upcoming vacations, the first of which I'm flying off to on Thursday, as a way to get into this habit.   For anyone else interested, Fit For Golf (see sidebar) has fantastic stretching routines (some of which, I think, are on their free area).  I really should get back to doing their main exercises too.  I don't have any affiliation with them beyond "satisfied customer," in case that sounds like an ad. I may end up posting in the 5 minutes thread when I do golf stretches if it's my only practice that day... as if I don't already sound like a broken mp3 with my 10-15 minutes hitting indoors part. And back to the topic:  anyone not caught up on the podcast should consider catching up and listen to that episode, especially if you're going on a non-golf vacation this summer and want some practice ideas that aren't the at-home practice routine from LSW about long bunker shots (which I am sure we all do regularly).
    • Mostly pull cuts to slices. Some random pull draw/hooks pending of I hit the toe.
    • What's the rest of that story? Where was the ball going?
    • The criticisms are starting already 🤣 U.S. Open pro criticizes Shinnecock green conditions: 'Bumpy' After playing his first practice round at the 2026 U.S. Open, Michael Kim offered a less-than-glowing review of Shinnecock's "bumpy" greens.   The sand, I don't care about that. If the greens didn't come back as well for latest aerification, that would be a bit of a blunder on Shinnecock I think.
