8 iron, driver
focusing on weight transfer--keeping weight forward and starting the forward swing with the hips and legs. I've changed my grip (not as strong) the club is now less in the fingers of the left hand and more in the fingers of the right hand. Grip has less separation between the two hands--feels more connected (one unit)

Hitting the ball much better focusing on starting the forward swing with hips/legs instead of focusing on hand path/swing plane. Next step will be to tie everything together (flat plane/connected arms connected to torso/flattening left wrist at the top)

Looks like nice effort to this point. The BIG thing is that you really need to keep your elbows much closer together throughout the swing. This will take out a lot of the steepness and help you hold your flying wedge (lag) longer. The feelings will be to keep your right biceps/elbow on your torso all the way to the top. When it feels like it wants to come off your torso the backswing is done. You should feel short and your arms need to feel straighter as well. So...elbows pinched together at the top and coming down as well. Half way down we want the bicep/elbow of the right arm to be connected to the torso through the right elbow pinching inward. See this youtube video of Charlie for that right arm/elbow position: -- this will make a big difference right away.

There are other things to work on, but your body position (excluding the arms as Dave talked about them) at the top is pretty good. You push forward well with your hips. I agree about the arms and would be interested in seeing this same set of videos again when you've really worked on that.

And yes, the swing will feel like a half swing, but really your swing will be almost as long without the clubhead moving anywhere near as long as currently.

thanks all for the feedback. Will be working on keeping my right elbow connected and elbows closer together.
