With temperatures rising, and scores dropping, it's shaping up to be a pretty good spring break for me. I played The Quarry yesterday, where the recent ACE Group Classic Champions Tour event was held. I didn't play the tips, because 1. I'm scared, and 2. I'm not feeling well. So, I played the 6800 yard, 1-ups. I shot a 74. Pretty even with my handicap. But here's the kicker; I had 22 putts on 18 holes. Couldn't believe it myself. Props to the greenskeepers at The Quarry for super smooth rolling greens.

Today I wanted to go out and shoot close to that score that I shot yesterday, but on my home course today. Not only did I beat it, I demolished it. I shot a -1, 71, which ties my lowest score ever. I had 11 G.I.R's and 27 putts. I hope this keeps going because I'm loving this. I'm glad it's happening over spring break so I can go back out tomorrow morning and do it again (hopefully). WAHOO!
