Got the honey-do's done today and snuck out for a quick round with the neighbor. Stretching a lot lately and it seems to be helping, I felt great on the range. Hit everything well while warming up, thought it would be a good day.

Summary for the round, 6 fairway, 4GIR. I don't know what happened from the driving range to the course, but I just couldn't turn the driver over and kept fading everything right. Fairways hit were because I was playing the left side. GIR is a little deceiving because I had a lot of punchouts. I also was swinging "lazy" today and slapping at the ball with my hands versus really rotating through the ball, so I was missing just short of the green. Short game was solid but not great, putting was better with 34 putts, scored an 86 which is my second lowest round so I'm pretty happy....missed a couple six footers on 17 and 18 for up/downs that I should have made. Not a great ballstriking round, but I'm happy with the scrambling and grinding through bad holes.

Need to practice a "simulated" round at the range this week to figure out what's going on with the driver, and work on rotating through with irons.
