Golf in Orlando?

Just booked my ticket for a buddy's wedding in Orlando. Maybe I should take my clubs?

This will be my first time destination golfing. It seems to have it's own set of problems like how do I protect my lovely new Nike clubs from the 800 lb. gorillas that work for the airlines. Looks like I'm researching Club Glove and Ogio travel bags.

The other problem is the good kind of problems. HOW DO I DECIDE WHAT COURSE TO PLAY? Someone needs to organize the gazillion courses in the area for all of us that don't live there. The only real, solid reviews are from National lists. But I digress.

Orlando might be a little warm in June. But a little heat won't stop me from satisfying a 36-hole itch, especially if I can have a little pool time inbetween rounds.

Club Glove is good. I have had no problems with quite a few trips, including International and US domestic, using one.

You can pick courses based on budget - how much do you want to spend, or how good are you? If you are a low handicap, you should look at something more challenging than some of the resort courses.

I only have one thing to say. Play the golf course Celebration . Trust me, it's a good course.
