Went to the range to reinforce the lesson from yesterday. Basically just worked on tempo and swinging to the target, everything was going pretty well, misses were still solid golf shots. Progressed from 9i to 6i to 20* hybrid, hitting all solid. Had early trouble coming out of the swing when I went to a 3wd off the deck, but kept working to pull with my left side and hit it pretty well. Still didn't hit driver great, I may have been getting tired but I just couldn't stop coming over the top and pulling it a bit. It wouldn't have been terrible on course, but the smothered hooks were short.

Finished up hitting a 6i towards the 200yd "green" on the driving range. Not at all saying that's my distance with a 6i, but just looking at direction towards that target. First five swings, dead nuts perfect little draws. Just felt like I was pulling through with the left side, tempo was good, these felt great. Then I started overswinging and hit some absolute crap shots, bladed four in a row. Stepped back and remembered what I learned in the lesson and hit three more balls, each was as pure a shot as I've ever hit. So, I took this as good "real world" training for a round when I start coming out of shots, need to think about what's going on and settle back into a good swing. I couldn't believe the distance increase when I took a nice easy swing that got me pulling through with the left side.
