Round 5/1

Hit the home course looking to put together a solid round based on work I'd done on the range recently. Started well with a solid hybrid off the tee, and a nice wedge to 10ft. Pin position is ridiculous as of late on #1, there's simply no way to have a chance at making the putt without having it slide by 8ft. Three putted the first hole which put me in a funk.

Still hitting the ball terribly off the tee with 3w/driver, weak slices every time. I kept it in play, but I'm losing a ton of distance obviously. Irons were working well for the most part, hooked a few but that's my normal miss. I ended up in a lot of bad spots around the greens which left me short sided with little chance for up/downs, and had two OOB which hurt, ended up 46/43 for an 89. Good to be back in the 80s again.

Basically, only "need" I have right now is to figure out the driver/3w to be able to keep the ball in play. Not sure if it's tempo, or I'm getting the club across the line at the top of the swing, I'll film a range session on Tues/Wed. Otherwise, I'm very tentative with my wedge game right now and leaving everything too short on chips, need to hit a few and get my confidence up so I can shorten up my par putts.
