Hadn't had a chance to hit balls in a couple weeks, so wanted to hit a bunch today. Started with the 6i. Hit a bunch of weak fades, not terrible but not crisp and all a bit short. Worked on getting a better turn and pulling through with the left side but no real improvement. Finally put a golf glove under my right armpit and got immediate results, finished up hitting a bunch of nice baby draws.

Moved to a Hybrid as I want to start hitting my 20* more often on tight par 4s. Hit a couple decent shots but was getting a little fade, tried to concentrate on keeping the right arm tucked but this resulted in big hooks. Just didn't feel "natural" with my swing today, worked on the hybrid some more but never really got it down. Misses weren't bad, but not perfect.

Moved on to 3wds, again plan is to hit more off the tee. Picked up a 13* CB2 that I wanted to try, just reshafted with a Prolaunch Platinum 75g. Well, this may be too much club for me. I just couldn't get the ball in the air even with a tee, and felt like I had to put a very good swing on it to get a decent shot. Switched to my 15* CB1 and it was much easier to hit for me, even weaker fades were bombs. I'll keep fiddling with the CB2, but right now I have my doubts.

Hit some drivers, trying to figure out whether my i15 or 9015d should be my "go to" club. To be honest, the i15 hasn't been that strong for me as of late, just a lot of trouble getting any trajectory. Same thing today, I hit some good balls but the 9015d is just easier to hit, decent swings give me mid-trajectory bombs. I'm thinking of cutting 3/4" off the i15. Driver swings felt good so I only hit a few shots.

Ended with some 50yd pitches, concentrated on pulling with my left side...I have a tendency to "scoop" these shots with the right hand and slide the club right under the ball leaving them short.

Overall, I felt a little rusty but was happy that I was able to figure out the weak fade and still hit the ball decent.
