It's been 10 days since I injured my back, and already I'm almost healed. This is the fastest recovery I've made in a while. I did a fairly standard treatment for a muscle injury: I took one naproxen every 8 hours or so and iced my back muscle 5-6 times a day during the first 3 days. I used heat therapy only once per day. I did ballistic stretching to keep limber. Well, this evening, I just went for a 3 mile run and then lifted some weights for 10 minutes to knock some rust off. I then iced my back for 20 minutes as a precaution. Feels pretty good.

I'll take a rest day tomorrow and then on Friday, I think I'm going to return to the range. Excited! I'm finally gonna get to check out my swing on camera. Pretty nervous about that, but its long overdue. Fingers crossed my body stays strong for the rest of the season.
